Washintong (CNN) En un hecho histórico, pues nunca antes esto se había presentado en la Universidad de Georgetown, fueron arrestados dos estudiantes y una tercera persona que visita la Universidad. (No se identifica quién es esa tercera persona pero nosotros sospechamos de un enano con cara de seminarista, gafufo, irritable, mal hablado, boquisucio, gritón, mafioso, paraco, traicionero, y más malo que pegarle a la mamá, a quien por ahí llaman «Varito» o «El Carnicero de Colombia»).

Prosigue la nota de CNN diciendo que la policía recibió una llamada donde decían que olía asquerosamente (seguro olía a lo que huele «la Casa de Nari») y fueron a ver la habitación y se toparon con un laboratorio de drogas.

Dicen las malas lenguas que dizque la policía no lo quiere decir, pero había afiches con una «U», una motosierra -Sierra es unos de los apellidos de quien sospechamos es el tercero de la banda-, un pasaporte de color vinotinto, un boleto de Aires (como los gringos no saben español, era una boleta de visitas a una cárcel que decía «Arias»), una carta de agradecimiento a Pedro (en verdad decía «Petro»), un retrato enmarcado en oro de Pablo Escobar con una velita prendida, una biblia comentada por Escrivá de Balaguer, una foto con uniforme de la TFP de un tal «Ordóñese de la Risa», una teta de silicona con las iniciales «RCN», un libro de diapositivas (en realidad era un «manual de falsos positivos»), unos pedazos de discos duros de computadores quemados, imposibles de leer, un maletín con las iniciales «PJMV», una foto de Piedad Córdoba chuzada con alfileres y tachada de rojo y azul, un afiche de Chávez con el número «Siete» rodeándolo, otra foto de una gorda de Botero (era en verdad Yidis Medina empelotada),  un par de rodilleras y un babero ‘MADE IN USA», una lista de nombres y apellidos con cruces marcadas con los nombres de los periodistas de ANNCOL y Radio Café Stereo, una radiograbadora sintonizada en «La Ponzoña», una toga de la Corte Suprema de Justicia de Colombia llena de microchips, y una «medalla a la libertad» oliendo a funeraria.

La policía indentificó que los tres eran varones ( «y si no daban la cara les pegaba marica»).

Tanto la DEA como la Universidad de Georgetown piden que si  alguien tiene información en relación con el incidente, se ponga en contacto con «la Oficina de Envigado». Perdón. Con la oficina en Washington de la DEA o el «Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad». ¡Perdón, otra vez! El Departamento de Seguridad Pública de la Universidad de Georgetown. Se promete que los teléfonos no serán chuzados ni los testigos asesinados.

Police find possible drug lab at Georgetown dorm

Washington (CNN) — Authorities have arrested two Georgetown University students and another person in connection to a suspected drug lab found inside a dormitory Saturday morning, D.C. Metro police said.

The three males, each at least 18, face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman for the police department. The third individual was a campus visitor. None was identified.

Police said that shortly before 6 a.m., they received a call about a foul odor at Georgetown’s Harbin Hall.

Initially, police thought the lab was for producing meth, but later said it was used to make Dimethyltryptamine, a hallucinogenic drug commonly known as DMT.

DMT is classified as a Schedule 1 drug, meaning it has no accepted medical use for treatment of any kind in the United States. Federal trafficking of Schedule 1 drugs carries a maximum prison sentence of 20 years, said Rusty Payne, a Drug Enforcement Agency spokesman.

DMT is a hallucinogenic that can be produced synthetically, but it also comes from a variety of plants and seeds found in South America, Payne said. The substance can be sniffed, smoked or injected, giving the user a short high sometimes referred to as a «business man’s trip» because it lasts about an hour.

In addition to the charges of drug paraphernalia possession, the men arrested could also potentially face federal drug trafficking charges if anything more serious is uncovered by the DEA’s investigation, Payne said.

Harbin Hall was evacuated most of the day following the discovery of the suspected lab. Seven people, including two security officers, were evaluated by medical personnel at the scene, said fire department spokesman Pete Piringer

No injuries were reported, and the DEA determined that the chemicals used in the suspected lab posed no health risk to students in the dorm.

«The DEA has informed us that there was never a health risk to students in Harbin, including those on the same floor, beyond those who lived in the room,» Todd Olson, vice president of Student Affairs, said in a statement to Georgetown students and faculty. «Hazardous materials experts have now removed all potential contaminants.»

«The use, production and distribution of illegal drugs are issues we take very seriously and are violations of the student code of conduct. MPD (Metropolitan Police Department) has arrested three individuals, two of whom are Georgetown undergraduates. They remain in police custody,» Olson said.
